Our acrylic metallic paints are specially designed for use on furniture and cabinets. These paints will dry very hard and durable. Paint an under coat of Paint Couture in a color similar to the metallic paint, for example, use British Grey under Silver Star or Antique Silver. Russian Red works very well under Pale Gold and Rich Gold.

Brilliant White contains extra large mica particles and it creates a beautiful sparkle. Use it over any color.

Like Brilliant White our new metallic colors, Dazzling Aluminum and Stardust, have that extra sparkle. We recommend a base coat of Paint Couture under the Metallic Paints. For Stardust - Peace is a good choice and for Dazzling Aluminum - British Grey is a good choice.

Wait 24 hours after applying the metallic paint prior to applying the topcoat.

Shake or stir these metallic paints well before use. Metallic's dry quickly, apply with a well loaded brush and finish off by brushing in one long smooth stroke in the same direction.
